Changes seen in Rajdhani Brick Industry
I am Ramsharan Chepang (16) permanent residence of Mahadevsthan-2 Darang. I have 7 members in my family me, two younger brothers, two younger sisters, father and mother. I am a student of grade 10 and child club member too.
I was not interested in my school. I used to enjoy going for fishing in the school time. I hardly attended 5,6 days in a month. In my school I was lazybones and not disciplined. Due to more absent in the class I hardly passed the exam. I was not familiar with my teacher and other friends. My father also was not more interested on my study because of my irregularity, low score in class and not very much interest in study.
Two and half years back, one of the staff (Uddhav Chepang) from Prayash Nepal came to our school and talked about CCCD project and child club formation. I was searching the way not to study in the school. So I also replied okay. Slowly and gradually I attended training, orientation organized by Prayash Nepal. Whatever I thought in starting of child club engagement I was wrong. I understood child club means not passing time only. I gained more knowledge. I knew importance of education. Same time Uddhav Sir convinced me and told me if I attended class regularly he will give me necessary stationeries (Scholarship support). I said okay. When I received scholarship support I got surprised. I never thought I could get bag, uniform, 5 dozen copy, pencil and pencil box and so on. That support inspired me to study a lot. I regularly involved in various program representing by child club. My teacher and other friend who never cared me also started to love me. It all inspired me to do better student, better person.
Now I am very happy because I am the leading student (First boy) in grade 10. Everybody loves me. Everybody wants to be my friend. That was most memorable day for me when I joined the child club. It changed my life. Now I trust myself one day I will be a very good person from my chepang community. Whatever I am all credits goes to Prayash Nepal/UMN and Child Club. Thank you so much Prayas Nepal/UMN for making my life better.
